Aldingbourne Photos

My son and a friend visited Aldingbourne, West Sussex, to see the community where my forefathers lived before moving to America. I’ve written more about the trip here. Below are a few photos from the church in Aldingbourne.

The churches of Aldingbourne, Barnham and Eastergate are all part of the same Parish.

The five bells in the bell tower were made in 1615.

Crusader, Knights Templar, and pilgrim markings by the church entrance.

World War II Memorial Window.

A candle sconce on the left, an original Consecration Cross on the right.

Norman Vestry Arch.

Some of the original decor can barely be seen on the walls.
